- How does this fundraiser work?
- Easy! Each fundraiser participant has a unique promo code that links each sale to their program and to the individual. The customer simply inputs this code at checkout and the program earns at least 25% of the purchase. The items are then directly shipped to the customer and the program gets a monthly check for the donation. In addition, the students get accumulated credit for their sales in order to earn really great prizes.
- What is the turnaround time for product delivery?
- Since 4U operates like an online apparel website, an order can be expected to be delivered directly to the customer within 1 to 2 weeks. In the event of a back-order we will do everything in our power to expedite orders as quickly as possible.
- What kind of quality can we expect?
- We use 100% American Apparel products, which is of the highest quality.
- What are the start-up costs?
- Zero start up cost! As part of “The Easiest Fundraiser Ever!” we have eliminated any out of pocket expenses for our participating groups.
- What are your minimum order requirements?
- No minimums – ever!
- What shipping method do you use?
- Currently we use USPS for all of our shipping.
- Do you offer any prize incentives to fundraising participants?
- Yes! We have a very generous prize system worked out for the participants. They get a free t-shirt after they sell their first 4 t-shirts, plus one for every 10 t-shirts they sell. That means that by the time they have sold their first 10 shirts, they have already received two free ones. On top of that their accumulated sales earn them fantastic prizes at the end of each cycle. - How much profit will we make?
- Each program earns at least 25% of every dollar sold. That is $4.50 per shirt and at least 25% of any other items sold.
- How does my group get started?
- Call us at (888) 289-8183 or e-mail info@4Uaparel.com. We will prepare a package especially for your program complete with marketing materials and other instructional and motivational items.
- How long do we have to fundraise?
- Once your school is signed up you get credit for any sales that go through your code until you cancel with us. Our prize period for the students runs from September through April where they can accumulate sales toward the different prize levels. Although the school receives credit 12 months out of the year.
- How do I credit the group and/or participant with my purchases?
- Each group and each individual participant has a Promo Code you enter at check out to credit them with your sale. If you have lost that code, a drop down box is available at check out to choose the school you are supporting or you can simply choose to donate to our General Scholarship Fund. This option will not credit the individual participant, so please contact them again for that code in order to ensure they receive credit for your purchase as well.
- Can I order by the group’s name if I do not have the group code?
- Yes! A drop down box is available at check out in order to look up the group you are supporting should you lose the group code. Otherwise the funds will be allocated to our general fund which will be donated to a worthy cause at our discretion.
- How does my child get credit for orders placed online?
- Each child has an individual promo code that funnels credit for their sales directly to him or her. With their code they can also go online and see what sales they have made.
- Do products ordered online ship directly to the customer or to the group?
- Products ordered online are shipped directly to the customer. As part of “The Easiest Fundraiser Ever!” we have taken all the responsibility and work away from the group.
- If the group’s fundraiser is over, can I still buy products online?
- Absolutely! We are an apparel website dedicated to supporting the arts. At least 25% of every sale must go to a group. A drop down box is available at check out to choose the program for which you wish to give that donation.
